There are days where you are so quiet. And days that you can't eat quietly because of the damn fire alarm. It's a annoying sound, if one day there is a real fire, we will hear it. The curious thing is that there hasn't been any fire this time. And nobody knew why sound the alarm. Until a few minuts later, when Fredrik sent us an e-mail. No comments :) :
(mail recibido // e-mail received):
Today someone [...] fried his bacon really hard! So hard that the fire alarm went off, ruining the peace for everyone living [...] and making the firemen, the police and Lulebo all come to look at the grizzly black rocks. All ended well except for the bacon. ;) In order to prevent this from happening again here is some information.
*How to Fry Bacon*
Frying bacon is one of those kitchen skills it can take some time to master. It seems like a simple operation, but it's fraught with peril.
To fry bacon to crisp perfection, start with a cold skillet. Carefully separate the bacon pieces from each other and place them side by side in the cold skillet.
Now place the skillet over medium heat. The bacon will begin to sizzle and turn translucent. Here's the main tip: don't move the bacon until it releases easily from the pan.
You can gently lift the edges as the bacon starts to brown on the first side, but don't lift it or force it until it releases. Then turn the bacon, using tongs, and cook on the second side until it releases easily again.
Keep turning the bacon frequently for even cooking. The bacon is done when it looks like bacon! The noise will subside dramatically, and when there are no more pink, white, or translucent areas on the bacon, it's ready. Remove it to a paper towel to drain, then eat!

If you find these instructions to hard you can try the microwave way or the oven way.
Vamos, que algún vecino se pasó tres pueblos! :D
